Multiple Sclerosis Support Melbourne

  • Living with Multiple Sclerosis is something I understand from both a professional and personal perspective. I was diagnosed with Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis in 2011 and, like many people, experienced the uncertainty that can accompany a diagnosis and the challenge of navigating the many treatment options available.

Over the past decade, I have dedicated myself to understanding the science of MS and implementing evidence-informed nutrition, lifestyle, and naturopathic strategies to support my own health. This journey has not only shaped my personal experience but has also fuelled my passion for helping others living with MS.

Today, supporting people with Multiple Sclerosis is one of my key clinical focus areas. I combine my professional training, lived experience, and ongoing advanced mentorship with Dr Terry Wahls to help clients identify practical strategies that support their health, wellbeing, and quality of life.

Living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) can present unique challenges, from fatigue, brain fog, and mobility concerns to uncertainty about the future. Navigating treatment options, lifestyle changes, and day-to-day symptom management can often feel overwhelming.

At Zoë by Renee, we provide personalised, evidence-informed naturopathic care designed to support individuals living with MS at every stage of their journey. Whether you have recently been diagnosed, are experiencing new symptoms, or are looking to optimise your long-term health and wellbeing, consultations are tailored to your individual needs, goals, and presentation.

While every person's experience with MS is unique, many clients seek support to improve energy, reduce symptom burden, optimise overall health, and feel more confident in managing their condition.

Consultations are available in-clinic in Melbourne and via telehealth Australia-wide.

  • My commitment to supporting people with MS extends beyond my personal and naturopathic experience.

I am currently undertaking advanced mentorship and training with Dr Terry Wahls, a globally recognised physician, researcher, and pioneer in lifestyle-based approaches to Multiple Sclerosis. Through this mentorship, I continue to deepen my understanding of the Wahls Protocol and its practical application in clinical practice.

Where appropriate, elements of the Wahls Protocol may be incorporated into treatment plans and adapted to the individual needs, preferences, and circumstances of each client.

Importantly, recommendations are always personalised. Not every strategy is appropriate for every person, and care is tailored according to your health history, current symptoms, goals, lifestyle, and medical management.

  • Multiple Sclerosis is a complex condition influenced by a range of factors including immune function, inflammation, nutrition, lifestyle, nervous system health, stress, sleep, and overall metabolic wellbeing.

Consultations focus on identifying opportunities to optimise these areas through a personalised and practical approach.

    Support may include:

    • Nutrition and dietary guidance

    • Wahls Protocol implementation where appropriate

    • Nervous system support

    • Fatigue management strategies

    • Gut health and microbiome support

    • Stress management and resilience building

    • Sleep optimisation

    • Identification and correction of nutritional deficiencies

    • Lifestyle medicine and movement recommendations

    • Functional pathology interpretation

The goal is to support overall health, improve quality of life, and help you feel empowered in managing your condition. While there is no one-size-fits-all approach to MS, many clients experience meaningful improvements in energy, resilience, wellbeing, and day-to-day function through a comprehensive and personalised treatment plan.

  • Many people seek support for concerns such as:

    • Fatigue

    • Brain fog and cognitive difficulties

    • Reduced concentration

    • Mood changes

    • Heat sensitivities

    • Mobility Issues

    • Poor sleep

    • Digestive symptoms

    • Reduced resilience to stress
